Arizmendi Bakery & Cafe is a cooperatively owned and managed business that strives to bring organically sourced, artisan crafted baked goods, sandwiches, and pizza to the city of San Rafael.
We are looking for a hard working, passionate, kitchen savvy individual to join our team of bakers. Good communication skills, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude a must. Baking, barista, and kitchen experience valued.
All bakers must be available to work a morning, an evening, and a weekend shift weekly.
Compensation is $16.50/hour plus tips (typically another $3 per hour). After 2 months, health insurance premiums are 100%-business paid. Trainees become eligible for worker-owner status after a 6-month introductory period. Owners divide any financial surplus evenly based on hours worked.
