In the last months, communities all over the world have organized mutual aid strategies like food banks, financial aid, house occupations to name some. These strategies for many communities come as an act of survival. In the isle of Puerto Rico under active colonialism, economical debt, an environmental crisis of Maria and the many aftershocks of disaster, LGBTQ BIPOC communities build a community of collective care. All over communities have raised money to support those ones that have been left out of the government stimulus support, unemployment, and Federal Loans. What are we doing to support our communities that are struggling? What does collective care mean? Can we walk the talk on our cooperative principle on concern for our communities?
