We know that the recent federal orders have caused uncertainty and concern, and we are working hard to understand the implications for workers and cooperatives.
Share how your organization is being affected by federal funding cuts and executive orders
- On January 27, there was an memo issued by the White house Budget Office to pause all federal loans and grants. This of course affects millions of people and will have a direct effect on our members and ecosystem.
- On January 28, a federal judge ordered a stay, which prohibited implementation of the executive order
- On January 29 the memo was rescinded
We are working with our partners at NCBA CLUSA and others on monitoring how federal funding will affect cooperatives.
If your organization is being affected by federal funding cuts or other executive orders, use this form to share your experiences with us. The USFWC is working to gather information about the effects on these actions, both to advocate for the continuation of programs as well as tell the story of how the cooperative ecosystem will be affected.
