The U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives is pleased to share this State of the Sector report, co-produced with our sister organization, the Democracy and Work Institute, covering research on worker-owned enterprises through 2016.
Four years into surveying worker cooperatives on a national scale, we are able to track over time how worker cooperatives are a stable, growing solution for communities of color, offering equitable wages and a pay ratios that prioritize the reduction of internal inequality.
